Established in January 2016, S.D Sports Massage was founded by Steve Denniss, a Castleford based sports therapist, with years of athletic experience.

We don’t only treat sports injuries, but also any other musculoskeletal issues, overuse injuries, or even just the everyday aches and pain you may get sitting at an office desk all day.

SPORTS MASSAGE
​There are many physiological and psychological benefits from this treatment. Originally developed to prevent and relieve injuries,this treatment can be utilised on both sport and non-sport related injuries. Sports massages can be used to aid recovery or performance, or simply to improve daily routine.
About Steve.
Originally graduating in Sports Therapy, Steve started S.D Muscle Therapy part time outside of his normal working hours. He soon found he didn’t have enough time to cater to the demands of the business. As a result in March 2016, Steve took the plunge and pursued S.D as a full time career.
Steve is an active member of the local sporting community and has strong ties to most clubs in the area. In his free time he is often found swimming, cycling or running in Castleford and the surrounding areas.
Since 2017 Steve has competed for the GB Triathlon team, taking him to World Championships across the world in countries such as Canada, Denmark and Switzerland.
It was his hard work and desire to excel that got Steve off to a great start with S.D Muscle Therapy. It was his vision and courage that moved him up the ladder. It is his warmth and passion that make him the person he is today.
